Covid-19 (coronavirus) Advice

 

We have been advised that coronavirus can be killed by washing and tumble drying

 

We are attempting to minimize the risk of spreading COVID-19 to protect our customers and staff.

 

 

 

 

 

Wherever possible, please thoroughly wash your hands

before coming to the launderette and when you return home

afterwards. (We do not have facilities for customers to wash

hands on the premises).

 

 

 

 

Please only let your hands touch the surfaces you need to in

order to operate and load / unload machines.

 

 

 

 

Please do not shake your laundry before putting it into the

Machines, do this at home before coming.

 

 

 

 

Load Laundry/drying by placing the mouth of your bag in the machine and emptying your garments by lifting up the bag.

 

 

 

 

We advise using your own rubber gloves and face covering to carry out your washing/drying as a precaution.

 

 

 

 

Please keep any children under close supervision and do

not let them run around and touch surfaces etc.

Upon reaching the launderette please follow the following set of rules

​

• There are to be NO MORE than 3 Individuals in the launderette at any one time

​​

• Keep a distance of 2 or more Meters between yourself and other customers.

 

• Once you have started your machine LEAVE the launderette and return only when the machine has finished. 

​

• DO NOT wait inside the launderette.

​

• If there are others in close proximity or more than 3 individuals in the shop, wait until they leave before entering. Please be patient and understanding. 

​

• Do not touch any surface that is not necessary to touch, even then please wear disposable gloves.  

​

• The shops are cleaned with bleach to eliminate the virus, however TAKE EVERY precaution to avoid touching your face, including eyes, nose, mouth etc.
